Ok, so I have most of my system for the next install...

The easy part:
Roadster66 - 4-channel front, Mono sub channel
PPI 356cs Fronts - Passive at first
PG RSDc 10's for subs (sealed)

The not-so easy part:
OEM integration

The Dash on the 2010+ Camaro is extremely involved and while there is a kit available to add an aftermarket stereo, its like 500.00+ and I dont like the look of it.

So, I am looking for recommendations for OEM integration. I want seamless integration - turn the volume knob on the stereo and the volume goes up. I would like to have something that allows me to play MP3's or attach an aux input, but I dont want to have a separate volume control knobs all over my dash, maybe just 1 for the LPL on the amp.

Do you know how your OEM headunit outputs its signal? In my car it was a balanced RCA that I could just tap into. Only cost was some RCA ends and solder. If there's a stock amp, odds are there's a preamp signal that you can use instead of needing a line-out-converter and gaining a ton of noise through it.

doing research on that now... I have seen (so far) what looks like most guys tapping into the rear channels with a line driver/converter and running that to a sub amp.

I wont be getting the Boston sound system if I can help it, why spend the money knowing I am going to replace it...

more research to do.

Most people used LOCs in my Saab as well, until I looked up and found the balanced signal. People usually do what the store tells them to, and the stores have no vested interest in getting it done right: They just want to make money by selling parts, like LOCs, when they usually aren't necessary.

If you have a stock amp the likelihood is high that you can tap into the preamp signal, which is much better than an amped one. After it comes through the amp it usually is distorted, crossed over, and often has equalization. It's a very dirty signal that is best to avoid at all costs.
