Anyone remeber the Blaupunkt BX01e xover

Post by kg1961 »

The reason I ask is Im going active and need a xover I can't seem to find a mx3. I have a chance to buy 1 or 2 Blupunkt bx01e Nib for $50 each. I can't seen to find anything on line other than its a active style xover
Its 1992-1996 I think
I know someone here has seen or used them

any info you can give would be great.I just don't have the time to make the 1.5 hour drive if its something I can't use or don't want

just looking at it GX3
do you think it would run bandpass for the mids?
Im guessing just use the high 90 and up and low 3200 and down
now what is the real differnce in 12bd/18/24

Im using focal kxmids/tweeter fpAmps and kxsubs

please let me know

thanks again for digging the pic up
I did see the other add when I was looking

This should do what you want with your mids ( bandpass)

A 12Db will attenuate your output level by 12db per octave an 18Db will attenuate your out put by 18 and so on. the lower the cut rate 12db the more over lap you will have with your sub to mids and mid to highs. A 24db gives you more precise control over the Xover points but makes things harder to stage with mids, highs and subs. You can end up with things not blending correctly using a 24db slope it just take more time to tune the system. Thats how i understand it........ Any one else?????

"In music, an octave is the interval between one musical pitch and another with half or double its frequency. The octave relationship is a natural phenomenon which has been referred to as the "basic miracle of music," the use of which is "common in most musical systems."[1] It may be derived from the harmonic series as the interval between the first and second harmonics."
