any airbrush people here?
I got an rc truck for christmas which has been alot more fun then I planned. After messing up the body on it I started to consider a new one and was amazed at what they can charge for even a basic paint job. I have always enjoyed painting my audio projects and have enjoyed trying to figure out how they do some of teh airbrush painting I see online. Because of this I have considered getting into it a little and wondered if anyone here had any experience with them? I have a buddy that use to do it and has a descent paasche rig that he will let me borrow and show the basics but I am considering getting my own setup for fun. Does anyone on here do it? I live in smalltown usa now so other then blick art supplies I will need to probably order anything good and wondered if anyone had any links?
I am addicted....... There is a local racetrack with an indoor and an outdoor set up that is starting a tuesday night race that I am going to try and make, need the batteries and another part I bent.
Need a body for your slash? I am going to be looking for people that want some paint jobs(not too crazy to start) and be willing to do it for free if you buy the body.

I have been into airbrushing for years. I have a pretty killer Thayer & Chandler I use for detail work, a Badger 200 for common stuff, and two other wide spray Badgers I use for broad coverage.
I am not a fan of Paasche, as I have had plenty of friends and family with them. That is not to say they are bad, just they did not excite me for what they are.
I highly recommend the Badger 200 for a beginner or even a more experienced painter. It is a lot of brush for the money, and the quality is top notch. Plus if you end up trashing it, parts are cheap, or a full replacement is not all that out of line.

Got "schooled" by member shawn k on May 10th, 2011...
No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.
Hands down the forum's most ignorant member...
Don't even know what Ohm's law is...

Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
this is drifting, with jumping mixed in......

I considered a road car but I heard that you have to have a perfectly flat surface to get them to go fast. I can go fast with this too. I put in the high speed gear and a 3s lipo and it is close to 60 mph with plenty of torque.

ok...till my computer is going again that is bout all of my samples....I will be going over to my bro's shop on monday and will take some pics of their trade show booth with paintings by some of the best names in the industry...
it is truly dumbfounding that they can do the shit they do with airbrushes...now I've got to play with some really good brushes over there and let me just say that there is a huge difference between them and the evo's and revolutions that I run....and your compressor can make or break a peice....but I think you'll like seeing their work...I go over and stare at it for hours while he makes my shipping labels
I often ship thru their warehouse so I am there often
