I would have to say the Route 66. I remember walking into my local shop and seeing the 66 on the board and my jaw just dropped. I so wanted one, but it wasnt in my budget.... so I settled
... for an M50 and this was in 1990-91 or so. In town here it was PG and RF, the SPL, and SQ battles were AWESOME, but the company that really appealed to me, 'cause lets face it, back then PG and RF were the titans, was PG, because of the SQ and POWER they put out, and then if these qualities werent enough, you could walk into the local PG shop and stare in awe at the '66 in all its glory, and then go across town to the RF dealer and all they had was RF with the unrenowned power and only decent SQ, which is a great offering but they had no LE's to offer.Actually, the most kick ass LE I seen was at Beamriders in Langley, which is just outside of Vancouver, B.C and they sold PG and JBL
My first time in that store I remember walking through the door and seeing an FAS mounted up on the wall in behind the cash register...I listened to some PG goodness,(amp wise) and fell in love with the PG awesomeness pushing a pair of JBL, 12 INCH GT's, that was the day I fell in love with PG... all because of the FAS, catching my attention, and me asking WHO THE FUCK MAKES THAT MONSTROSITY, and it was love at first sight and listen.
Sorry for a somewhat ramble...,but whatevr Im reminisin!!!!!!

I too likes the Outlaw/Bandit combo...........
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
x2 MFan's thoughts.
The Route 66 just seems to be the fondest memory of PG for me. Clean and functional.
Would I actually buy one today? No. I just cannot imagine actually using it on an install.
Realistically, I like the ZX950. Modern performance and packed with features, but yet old schoolish at the same time. Then again I still think the ZX450 is a killer amp that has little competition even today.

For me it has always been the Frank Amp'n Stein...
In the 90's, I had never heard of neither the MS1000 or th3 SOFAS - but now I love both of them MORE than the Frank itself. -even though the Frank is still an icon to me...

Hmm, I would have to say that for power and functionality the reactor.....however, it is big and cumbersome....not something I would ever install and I own one....
for sheer aesthetics, the outlaw....they look like and amp should...big sink...lots of area and the blue and nickel just do it for me.....but the power is lacking for my style of systems. I've installed and run em and beleive them to be great for highs but are worthless for modern low frequency drivers. I don't think I've run less then 1200 rms to subs for a long long time....

The one i´m going to pickup at my post office today.
The one i wanted since 2000 but couldn´t afford it back then.
The one Phoenix Gold never introduced to the european market, so u had to order it directly if u knew about it.
The one that will never ever leave me again.

Music is silver, PHOENIX is GOLD
