ZPA 0.5 PCB Board needed

Post by al ramsay »

Hi all,
I have had the diagnosis back from the Doctor and the issue the amp has is one of the small upright PCB cards (see attached pics). One/Some of the resistors are fried so will have to be replaced UNLESS I can find another card laying around. We have asked the Importing agent in NZ and am told they in turn will have to talk to PG.

1. Has anyone got one laying around they would be open to selling?
2. Would anyone have a service manual and maybe circuit/schematic diagrams?
3. Has anyone the knowledge/History in repairing such a board?

I also acquired in the same trade an Orion 250 HCCA amp, a Phillips 4 channel amp, some focal speaker crossovers (no speakers, just the crossovers) a couple of PG fuse blocks, and some amp power/earth cables. All in all, I should be able to clear this lot to pay for the repairs/replacement card.

Both that board and the one a few behind it are the same. Just remove the both of them and use the one to figure out what parts are needed on the bad one.

If all else fails, look for a damaged 0.5 on ebay. Use it for parts.
