just wondering, I will be getting one soon. anyone have any experience with it. Also, the guy I am buying from said the birthsheet shows 425wattsX1@4ohms...is it normal for these amps to do more than their rating?

Doesnt matter if is 400 to 500 as you wouldnt hear the difference unless you listen critically and maybe just maybe could hear a little better control.

Its a newer one, it has the birthsheet with the graph, i did however buy an x100.2 from errin that was used as a test unit at phoenix gold, but it only has the older birthsheet, still putting out 276 watts

about exactly half of the output of an x600.1. The xenon 600.1's are definitely the workhorse out of the monoblocks. In fact, I believe one of the members here (with much more circuit knowledge than myself) even likened the x600.1 to a pair of the x400.1's.
