Just awefull......
One of the biggest challenges of raising kids IMO is finding the fine line between beeing to mild and beeing too harsh on them.
You want them to feel loved, and them to have a nice childhood, and at the same you have to teach them all the values in life and the difference between good and bad.
I begin to understand my parents more and more when looking at the time they grew up in, and how hard they had to work just to be able to raise our family.
I try to give our kids what they really need, and teach them the rest is just extra in life; they will get enough extra, and they know to enjoy that.
That family will carry this with them the rest of their lives, and worse; it will have it's effect on the next generations.
It can never be erased, and I feel sorry for them.

I was reading a little more about that story, she wrote a strange note about how her parents put a sign-board on her about some stupid obama dollhouse bs and how she couldn't take it anymore...
Sorry if my humor in the situation is poorly timed but I would really like to know more about the parents of this child. I would hope that at 6 life was not yet that bad....

at age 6, even if life WAS that bad, I dont know that you would have the ability to make the determination that life was bad at all. It seems to me that you really only recognize things being THAT bad when you have recognized things being THAT good. At 6, I dont know that its even possible.ttocs wrote:Sorry if my humor in the situation is poorly timed but I would really like to know more about the parents of this child.
