nine inch nails : year zero

Post by Mastiff »

Well the wife gets home and drops it in my hands.... first impression is I think Trent did some soul searching for this album. So far Capital G is on of my favorite tracks as it’s a great commentary on the reality we live in now.

One of the things I like about Trent Reznor is brutal Honesty of his lyrics. Overall I give the album thumbs up.

I was never a big fan of NIN, I think there was only one album that I liked - I may give it a try :P

He (Trent) said that this album would not be as main stream as the previous. I imagine, I have not bought it yet, that it will be alot like the last songs he records on each album-slow and very lyrical. He always puts on a great live show.

My favorite sounding NIN album is Broken. The other one I liked a lot was downward spiral. I have a few other ones including with teeth but I couldn't get into that one very much, I have year zero on my comp but haven't listened yet but I am glad to hear u liked it cuz that will be incentive for me to check it out.

I may have bumped into you in the crowd at this one Verizon is the best place in Houston to see a concert. Seen Audioslave a month before this at Verizon also an awesome show. He always plays Houston, sometimes 2 shows.

BTW: Just bought the NIN cd.

Hell I can't remember either, it was a great show though! That was the first time I saw NIN and APC, I have since seen APC a 2nd time.

I'll have to go grab this new NIN cd, and maybe some of the older stuff. All of my old NIN cd's are all scratched up!

Audiophiliac--you actually got me re-listening to The Fragile-- my fav. album, because of your post on the Exile forum.

I just noticed the CD itself changes from dark to light after you play it. That is the craziest thing I have ever seen. When I put it in my CD player the CD was black, when I ejected it, it was off white with some graphics on the face.

x2. on Pretty Hate Machine! I can't imagine how many times I've listened to that album from start to finish. I might have to check the new album out.
