No crossovers guys, running my comps active off the headunit.

I'm still leaning towards something in the cabling is getting tugged or pushed loose when I get the headunit installed, or the wires are getting pinched causing a connector to get tweaked at an awkward angle causing a bad connection, something like that. Plan on figuring it out this weekend, still no time as of yet.

Dave, check your pm's.[/quote]

I think you are correct. This would make the most sense with what you have described.

End of last week I took a few minutes and tried to re-arrange/re-organize the wires behind the head unit. I had just been kinda shoving the deck in and wires went wherever.

This time I tried to put all the wires either to the sides, or underneath the head unit without any of them getting to tangled, pushed to the side, blah blah.

When it was all back bolted up, I cannot get the noise to come back or replicate it in any way, no matter how much I try to move or push on the dash kit, etc. It's dead quiet now.

Fingers crossed and knock on wood that fixed it permanently.
