I've been eyeballing this speaker and now it's on sale (of course I'm still broke) and wanted to know your guys thoughts/inputs about this speaker.

Looks like a nice driver with good power handling for a good price! At one point, Vifa was probably making half of the car audio drivers out there
(I don't mean that literally btw.. but they do/were producing drivers for a lot of well known companies)

No idea about that speaker in particular, but if you're on a budget I suggest the Peerless SDS/HDS speakers, or the Dayton References.
It's hard to go wrong with Tymphany though...
