This is just too funny. Why should they not ship it overseas? Are you telling me that US-carriers do move items with more respect within US, compared to put the package directly on a plane?todd217 wrote: also to help prevent any shipping damage dont ship it over seas. since i know that wont work a lottery sound cool.
I do not think so....
And btw.. How can you tell that I did not send Kevin an email before you??

One of the two are going to museum. The other one is either: 1) going for "cheap" to one of the first guys - or - 2) ending up in a bidding war, and probably will see a high $$ pricing...marko wrote:soo, are both rt66 covers spoken for?
IF a bidding round will accure, I hope they this time will notice us overseas guys....
I am still abit frustrated regarding the T-shirts, as me and Joerg were really early to register - and so was Itchy too. And even if Itchy has the biggest PG collection in here, none of us got even a reply....

with this being a piece of old school memorabilia, I really want to see this piece go to a person like myself that just drooled over it when it was in the case. I am not saying this to increase my chances but because I know there are alot of people like myself.... I have nothing aginst the newbs here that love pg but I know there are alot of people like myself that have dreamed of owning one of these things since the first time we saw an announcement in a magazine about it.... Not sure how we can do that but I just wince in pain imagining this in some 20 yr olds hands that has no idea what he is holding to the rest of us. This would also be a good way to make sure it doesn't end up sold on the bay although I would expect that would be a rule as well?
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

I feel a bidding war may not be fair to everyonePedi wrote:One of the two are going to museum. The other one is either: 1) going for "cheap" to one of the first guys - or - 2) ending up in a bidding war, and probably will see a high $$ pricing...marko wrote:soo, are both rt66 covers spoken for?

A draw may be a better idea, but who can enter the draw? anyone and everyone? If so it could end up in anyone's hands, even a 15year old kid that just registered on the phorum a coupla days ago ....
I have to agree with Pedi on this one, I did PM Morgan about it, he said he'd look into it, but still nothing to be heard on this onePedi wrote: I am still abit frustrated regarding the T-shirts, as me and Joerg were really early to register - and so was Itchy too. Problem with my collection is it is scattered, but will soon be reunited, I'm working on it with DHL to get good pricing ...

the plane could crash. and it could be at the bottom of the atlantic. where if the truck crashes it can just be picked up on the side of the road. Pedi i was joking, i hope who ever gets it does not trash it like so much of this stuff is.Pedi wrote:This is just too funny. Why should they not ship it overseas? I still say we give it to the holder of the rarest of rare PG pieces...........

Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
You mean the most sought-after and most-valuable of the rare PG-pieces? All one-off pieces are rare, as long as they are one-off - agree?FuzzyHoNutz wrote:I still say we give it to the holder of the rarest of rare PG pieces...........
Remember Fuzzy, the Surfboard and my dual-EQ is also rare one-off pieces like your amps - but mine does actually work and will go in an install, hehe...
I just had to tease you here, Harold... Hehe...
