I need my exile x5 repaired. Any good fixers?

My x5 has not worked for right for quite some time, and I stored it away for a year or so, and forgot about it. Any reputable people that can repair an amp of this capacity? The board has no visible sign of any damage.

I wanted to send it to exile, but when they told me, they dont know if they will have the parts to fix it or not, then I didnt want to take the risk of being out money for shipping this beast.

my zx 450 wouldnt come out of protect mode& with a DMM jacampb2 helped me figure out it was a bad output transistor- he told me to put my dmm in diode mode, with amp off/unhooked, then measured each channel @ the speaker outputs, when the one channel wouldnt climb & go to infinite/infinity that was my bad output, then i ordered ALL the output transistors from newark.com, or digikey works too, de-soldered ALL the old ones, put new thermal paste on them too,put it all back together and VOILA; it worked!! that was my issue, not sure it is your issue, but seems like a good place to start-btw, u only need to replace the bad output trans.& its compliment, however my zx 450 is seerial no.2168 V.1 so i did them all due to age, that was late 08, early 09- hope this helps:D

btw, i foegot to mention, desoldering the old outputs was EASIER than replacing/removing old input caps.

I think this would be the first exile ever repaired that I have heard of on here. how much and how long are you willing to invest in this?

This amp is worth alot, so im willing to put a little money into fixing it, but dont want to be over charged.. I may just take the shipping risk of seeing if exile can fix it.. :hmm:
