Went to apply for a few jobs and when I got home I saw a box at the door step. Here's what was inside.

Both the tweeter and the mid are pretty big. I was surprised.

No, it's just a goldish looking metal alloy of some sort. If you look at the pis where I'm holding it and you see the 4 ohm sticker, you can see it's just part of the motor structure.

It's a goldish-looking kind of cork, applied to the back of the magnet, to minimize vibrations produced by the magnet, and get the voice-coil to warm up faster.
I love those units. [European quality] :wink:
