illusion audio

anybody have any experience with illusion audio shallow mount subs?
they sort of resemble a critical mass sub.

A fellow installer friend of mine has. He liked them. What his exact thoughts were on them, I don't know, but he seemed impressed.

I have owned a pair of the 8" carbons and installed several others, they are very responsive and musical, they are not a brute force sub nor are they a bottom end monster but they are well balanced for a shallow sub.

yea looking at the specs jeffy and i didnt think they would be a low end monster.....but of course im a little more into punchy bass myself.

but the sound quality is what i was really wondering about. and i know the are a little cheaper than the morel elate sw10. and the morel i just ordered is not in stock so i am looking at other options right now.
