2 12" phoenix gold QX12 subs

i have 2 12" phoenix gold QX12 subs. i have no other information on these subs. i am trying to find out what size amp i should get? i am a newb at this stuff. =how much is to much?javascript:emoticon(':?:')

looks like any amp that can do around 500watt rms 2ohm

well i understand that this is a PG site but i really like mxt. i got a nice deal on these speakers. but if you think any of these amps would work nice i hav about $250 to spend

Are you looking for a good overall sound or are you trying to shake the car apart?

lol...i'm not saying that because this is a pg site...but because u have already got pg subs! some guys like to keep it one brand throughout their system.

ok. but like i said total newb here. i want it nice and loud with out blowing the speakers.

also any tips on capacitors? not sure if i should get one. i did hav a little trouble before. when i turn my lights on my system turns of for a sec them comes back on...any suggestions? batt. and alt. are original

,oh not at all! i'm gonna do that on my next car! all pg all the way through! so i'm not bad mouthing that all!i mean all speakers...all things that make sound except the h/u!

well i talked to some of my teck buddies looks like im getting a MTX ELITE TE1501D 1500 WATT RMS MONO CAR AMPLIFIER AMP!

im using a jl slash 500/1 very nice amp great xover in a small package and doesn't need alot of amp to run full tilt
i pick mine up for about 200 on ebay about 2 years ago
have not been happier.
