problems with Eclipse IPC-106

I'm having an issue with my IPC-106. every time I connect my ipod it gives me the error 1 code which mean the ipod isn't sneding information over. what would cause this to happen??? the ipod works fine in my other vehicle with the same set-up. any help would be great...

anyone got any ideas...... took controller from problem vehicle and hooked up in truck worked fine, any help please...........
