Got some subs coming. :)

Post by Audiophiliac »

I picked up some subs on ebay this morning....I think I got a good deal.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3D1&_rdc=1

I had an XT10 once but never got to use it. Now I will have 2 of them in a pretty box that happens to be the perfect size for these subs.

I might still get a box for my RF Audiophile 12s and see how they compare. Cannot have too many options.

Hopefully it arrives in good shape. I sent a message to the seller to make sure it is insured. I am always skeptical about people shipping things like this.

Well if they are as good as the other Exile stuff I ran in the past, they should perform very well. I had the 800.4 and XT65 comps and was extremely impressed with both. I will try and do a comparison between the 2 sets of subs. Just need to find a cheap box that is the right size for the RFs.

certainly a good deal with shipping. It says it is ported but I do not see a port anywhere? Is it behind the silver logo?
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

It is a sealed box. 1.2 cu. ft. total. The guy does not seem to know much english. He has good feedback and answered my email quickly asking about shipping insurance. So hopefully it works out.

they are pretty decent. considering they are shallow subs they sound a lot like a normal 10!
