why did I pre order the new copy of halo from walmart only to find out that it will not be here till a week from now(10 days after release)? I thought the benifit of pre-ordering meant that you got it opening day as well as got a $20 gift card so when I get an email 3 days after opening day saying it will be an entire week before it gets here, and if I buy it in the store I get the gift card, a sock hat and a poster? When I ordered it I got an email saying it would be here between tues-thurs, when it didn't come today I sent an email and was told it would be an entire week from now.

Man that does suck. Is the new Halo the kind of thing you have to line up for in the morning outside of the store or is there plenty of stock at other stores?
that's one of those crapy things that happen and who knows why like im waiting on a real good airbrush to come so im pumped and keep checking the postoffice. ive been wanting one for a long time and then i find out dude didnt send it till a week later than he should have it's like the more you want something the more you gota wait.
there are plenty, I actually went to the store and bought a copy so that I could return the unused copy when I finally get it. They had an entire encap full of the game, must have been 50-60 in there.

So... what the hell is wrong with Walmart? Why can't they fill a preorder if there are plenty of copies for everyone? That's insanely stupid.
so why do they pressure people so much to preorder stuff and then once they got you then make you wait they do the same thing at game stop. they make you think that if you dont preorder then youll never get the game like ever and then it will be the end of the world.
so I sent an email in to complain. It came back with some type of form responce to where I was sure that no person had rear or responded to it, but in the responce there was an 800 number for cust service. I called it and explained whats going on and the lady said all she could do was give a $10 gift card, well ok I guess.
So then I went to dinner, came home and found an email with the $10 gift cert issued, and then in another responce via email to my email complaint, they offered another $10. I am waiting now to see if that goes through as well, maybe it will not be that bad.
