Newest update- Audison

My local dealer was calling around to see if he could get the Audison amp for me. He called his Memphis rep and his rep told him that there wasn't anything he could do for him. Well, as it turns out he calls back an hour later and said that YOU are an Authorized Audison dealer. HE didn't realize he was, so.... $1225.00 is my total for the LRx5.1k. It's been ordered and $1k has been put down on it.




Ahhhh, I'm on my way. New HU and a new amp. I can't wait. I'll have sopme pics taken of it when it gets here. It'll be about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks.

Should you REALLY be blowing your windfall on this? I guess you can make up some of the difference by selling current gear but still! Save it for a rainy day!

I only let myself buy stereo gear if I have excess "play" money left over on a paycheck...

The $$ I have left over from my school grants IS the only $$ I have to spend on updating my system. All bills and NEEDS were taken into account w/o using this $$. I want some "rainy day" $$, and that will come in Feb. when I get the 2nd semester grants released to me. Which should be more then what I got this time around. ~$1600

I'm changing as I get older and the need to be louder isn't as all important as it once was, it's now mostly about SQ, w/the option to get loud when I get the urge. Plus the OT I'm getting at work helps get us ahead and we plan on paying a few bills in advance to build up a credit.

Current gear is staying w/me. I'm going to look into Eric, or ??, replace the caps in the 450 and 0.5, the 450 will probably go into the wife's car and 0.5 will become wall art.

couldn't think of a better way to invest a windfall, except on pg gear that is worth as much or more then what you paid if you take care of it.
