my new additions to the family

Post by wheelieking71 »

i am an all-out ADCOM junkie! but ive always wanted to own an MS or two, never was able to find the right deal. or, i was always a day late and a dollar short. now all of a sudden i have 3 pretty nice amps! LOL, how does that happen? anyways, just wanted to share a pic of my new family members:

Image

MS-2125, MS-275, MQ-430

the 2125 works, but one of the rail caps has a tiny bit of residue under it. the large caps in the 275 are "sportin a sag!" LOL, and the 430 has had a cap let go. so a complete re-cap of all 3 is in order, then a few other neat goodies that im sure will get you guys drooling once i get them done. youll see...! since these are built so damn rugged, i think they will make thier way into my off-road rig. i will share pics once the build comences.

throw some old klickers in there if you want a good disposable amp. If you do blow one you can always pick another up at the flea market that weekend or if you are lucky at your local convinience store....

just not sure what kind of offroad rid you are talking about. I just moved from the desert of phoenix and the offroad toys there were put to a test I would expect no equipment to last for long in. The sand rails there were just nuts and the drivers even worse.....

HA, i live in Gilbert just outside phoenix. my "off-road" rig is a 76' dodge ramcharger. its a semi-hard-core family wheeling machine. its a year or so from being done, but im always planning ahead for tunes!

just moved from ray and val vista last october, between the rodeo grounds and the mall(how often do you say that?).

Not sure I would want my pg amps bouncing around in a rail if that is what this is.

yup small world, I challenge your wheelie king title as well......... My best on my mountain bike is just over a mile, but there were 14 turns I had to make to get that much length in my neighborhood in gilber.

LOL! your on! but im not gonna pedal. i havnt wheelied a bicycle in 20+ years. but i can go a good couple miles on my CRF450, and i bet i could run my 350X out of gas with the front wheel off the ground. i also like to turn while on one wheel. i cant do a 90' turn, but i do love to hook a sweeper!
