Which one of these Ebay sellers would you trust the most ?

Post by Me-262 »

First off hi everyone, its been a good year since I've posted here. We had a baby boy and he's kept us very busy. Life is good (great) , just not as much time to play with the toys.

Anyway, I'm back to put a simple sub enclosure into my Forester. One of the guys on the board was building prefab boxes to fit the OEM sub cutout so that's why I'm looking at this JL Audio 10W1v2-4. I know its going to fit and I don't have the time to play with other better subs.

Looking for some Ebay feedback, I can buy this on Amazon for $125 and it looks like I can also get it $60 less on Ebay from any of these vendors. Does anyone have any feedback on who I should probably go with ? Thanks !

And here's some proof you can have kids AND still have fun

Why a W1? Is the enclosure specifically made for it? It's not a terrible sub but there are many better ones out there for the same price!

Hey guys, yes the main reason I'm going with this one is depth. There's not a whole lotta room back there if you want to keep the sub from hitting the grill. I need the hatch space so the OEM bodywork needs to stay as is. I wanted something like a W3 but its too deep, the sub would need to be mounted on the outside face of the grill. Powerwise I have the rear channels of a ZX450 dedicated to it so that's about bang on.

(thanks jay!)

Here's a look of the JL mounted.
