they made an app for remote control airplane to fly with the phone. I would not do it for fear of burning in somewhere I didn't want it but it was supposed to work ok.

they are fun until you get to fix them, and from what I have found on flying rc toys you send almost as much time tweeking, tuning and repairing them as you do flying them. That is the reason I switched from airplanes to rc trucks, much more reliable.

I want one of these things! That's Fantastic!

My Blade CX2 was the best $200 I spent on a RC heli. Easy to fly, hardly breaks even when you crash it, I can fly it in doors, parts a CHEAP and easy to find, blah, blah, blah. The CX2 is one of the best heli's you can get if you just want to have fun and fly something inside :) I can do stall turns and all that jazz in the house  It's fun to chase the cats around as well :D

it CAN fly indoors? You mean it had to fly indoors or with 0 wind. I tried mine outside but with even a small draft it will spend its time with the head into the wind and just tring not to be pushed backwards. Its been a long time since I did anything with it, it looks cool in my office hanging from some string....

Shorten the "balance bar" on the top, the thing with weights. If you take about a 1/2" to 3/4" on each side of it it will DRAMATICALLY improve it :D You can haul ass forward with it. I was able to fly it outside with about 10mph wind, but that was only with a full battery so that lasted about 5 min  So ya, try that and see what happens.

I still love my CX2. My buddy and I used to play "heli wars" and attempt to bring each other down, using nothing but your own chopper . It was good times till be broke all our spare parts  Then we would have to wait a week to go into town at the time  It was good stuff.

Oh and add a 3 cell lipo to it instead of the wimpy 2 cell one, and that makes it a whole new machine. It has GOBS of power and can power through wind no problem, to a point  I got a new 3 cell lipo just chillin' here, I should wire that guy up... It's been a while :D

All The take offs are optional, but landings are manditory. It would come down one way or another...
