i really didnt mean it to be be racist. i make a pretty big personal distinction between what i think are funny racial stereo types and actual racism.
i'm not implying that puerto rican's are all drug dealers. there are car stereo types that exist for every nationality/econimic and social position. (like if you had picked bbs' i would have asked you what coke snorting stock broker you bought them off of) imo, bmw's should have wheels (and everything else) that is performance oriented, instead of curb appeal.

i'm sorry that comment came off like it did. i didnt mean it with any kind of hate/resentment or condescending tone.

It's ok man... I guess that ever since my girl and I have been together I have encountered a lot of racial bs from people. I never knew what Puerto Ricans or Mexicans had to deal with when it came to hate and a lack of acceptance. I understand the job thing with the mexicans... I'm not dumb. i'm a union electrician and I see jobs being snatched by low payed illlegals every day. I just love my family and get a little hot under the collar when I hear derogatory comments about her or my son's ethnicity.

Now, on to the car. Those ARE performance tires! They are the same size, width and rating as the M3s 19" wheels. I bought them strictly for performance. But yeh, I like the way they look as well. I was going to get some coke snorting stock broker wheels but I hate cleaning the webbed wheels! takes wayy too long... especially with the brake dust that the BMWs produce. I replaced the pads last night with some high performance ceramic pads which claim to have practically 0 dust. We shall see. I took my car to the track yesterday with the new wheels on and scared the shit out of myself. I was doing 130mph around the oval which to me is a friggin rush! The grip on these tires are amazing. I've noticed a big improvemant in performance over the stock wheels and tires. My friggin headlights have been flickering lately so I traced it back to the RR bulb carrier in my tail light. ordered a new one... should get it Monday. Wierd to think that it would make my right blinker go really fast and my headlights flicker on and off. anyhow... I'll post a build log once I get started. take care eberyone and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)

i myself like dating laidies of a different culture to me they seem like they know how to treat a man with a great deal more respect. 90% of all american women are beyond insane and saying their mentally wacked would be a complement. i dated a puertorican girl after i been trough a maze of sycotic american women, and i almost felt like she treated me too nice. but it's better to be treated too nice than have a mentally wacked sycoticly deranged loony bitch out to destroy you, so now i mostly stick to girls from a different culture, as they know the proper way to be. :-# as for those rim's they to me are a drastic improvement over stock i was thinking of going with a simalar style rim on my 325 but maybe with a little wider spoke but i do think those do look way better than stock. :)

Thats a sweet car! my sub setup is almost identical to that. I'm going to vent through the rear speaker openings after removing the rear fill. The hybrid Legatia L6 mids are gonna be a tight fit for my doors but i'll make em work. I'll also be using Hybrid L1pros in the stock tweeter locations. I'll post a build log once I get things rolling. any help with wiring from the factory amp would be appreciated, i've seen some intsallers diagrams but if someone here has first hand experience or tips I would welcome the help. I have 100sq ft of damplifier pro that im going to stuff into the E46.
