It came with dual brushed motors and and two 3000mAh NiMh HPI batteries.(First picture) I drove it a couple of times and started to upgrade it a few days ago.
I converted it to a single brushless Mamba Monster 2650kV motor with matching ESC. Did a couple of test runs with the Nimh´s and decided to go the LiPo way. At this point the weak links started to fail. the 66tooth spur gear melted away because the slipper clutch overheated during wheely fun

I now the decided to go the let´s tune the hell out of it way, since i got the E-Savage for 125bucks brandnew.
Today i ordered a few parts like the lower and upper aluminum suspension arms, aluminum skid plates, heavy duty differentials, metal spur gears with 66 and 70 tooth, aluminum shocks, better an bigger tires, aluminum center shafts and last but not least the metal pinions for the center gear box.
The fourth picture is what i´ll start with. It already has the bigger tires on it.
