if you had the chance to go to China, what electronics would you buy?
Seems that most everything is made there... and I am wondering, are there build houses there that sell the exact gear that companies like Arc or JL or Alpine are buying pre-made and putting their name on? if you were going to go, or had the chance, what would you buy? what would you look for? Where would you go? Other than buying a 1000.00 rolex for 20.00...

I would be really carefull what electronics you buy there. There are some good lookin, but cheaply made fakes that are all around there from what I understand....
MAYBE YOU CAN FINALLY DEMO SOME OF THE NEW PG GEAR THOUGH!?
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

lol - ouch
I am thinking along the lines of the fakes too. Kingwood amps for 1.00, rockwood amps for 3.00 - cheap enough, even a bad knockoff can serve a purpose. lol!

actually china has stepped up in quality in the electronic department i have a multimedia player that's made in china that has a signal to noise ratio of 80db and the sound is quite good. in fact it seems like their quality is getting closer to that of japan, though they may not be on the same level as high end japanese electronics they could be well on their way.
