MS-2125 speaker output plugs?

Post by 66GTO-MS2125 »

I have been looking for original grey MS-2125's for awhile now and i just see that 2 have come up on ebay. They have the master and slave ports so i know that they are original early 90's, but they dont have the speaker terminals seperated (left on left side and right on right side) they are all together on the right side like on a MS-275 and the RCA's are together on the left side. just wondering if anyone knows how long they came like that and any other info on them, i would like to buy the pair cuz they are only 2 hours from my house and in can save freight by picking them up. Thanks for any and all help.

Only a very few of them Came with that single MS275 plug. REV.A and REV.B MS2125´s. The problem was to run the enormous power of 710Watts thru the small plug. That´s why Phoenix Gold switched over to the seperated plug with REV.C I´ve seen melted plugs on amps that where used running 2 Ohms in bridged mode.

You can always use them for front duties and the other ones have for subs and stuff that drain a lot of power. No need to stay away of them.

actually i would grab them up if i were you. it wont really matter because even at seven hundred watts as long as you have proper voltage at the terminals and you not running a 8 guage wire 17 feet away from the battery and 5 ft from ground you will be okay, just use a distro block and keep the wires short, as far as the speaker wire terminals it will be fine. Done it for many, many years.
You may have subs in your car........but my doors sound better!
