I cant seem to find the instructions on making an lpl44. Also if anyone could give me some info on how to make on with detentes on the pot that would be great.

unless you time is only worth about 2.00 an hour, why not just buy a new lpl- readily available, for something like 39.00

I know its a 50k ohm pot and a piece of phone wire, so about 3 bucks and 5 minutes. I think your math is all fucked up man. I just need to know where to solder.

and it typically looks ghetto, the newer style lpl is a much better finished assembly, and it unplugs at the knob for a cleaner install-btw, have you every soldered 28 gauge wire?

doesn't look any different when you go to ace and get a knob to go over it. I have not seen them less then $45 myself.

I find it is easier to use a little thicker wirea and then only use a few inches and then connect it to a male end. Just use a male-to-male connector and this way you do not need to unscrew it if you remove teh panal, just unclip the adaptor.

A nice guitar knob maybe instead of the cheap chinese plastic knob that comes with the factory one.

As for soldering. LAWL. You don't know me. :roll:
