Im going to put my Elite 9-5-1 and 12d system back in my old car.
It will be powered by 2 Ti1000.2's and a Ti1200.1.
What if i was to wire the Elite 5-1 comps (with supplied cross over) to the right channel of each Ti1000.2 and then the left channel of each amp to the 9's. Therefore having one Ti1000.2 to power the right and one Ti1000.2 to power the left. I hope this makes sense.
I'll be using a Pioneer P90RS combo so i'll be able to set the gains seperatly for the 5-1 and 9's per side through the processor.
Or should i just stick to one amp for the 5-1 comps and one amp for the 9's as i did in the previos install.

Shouldn't present any problems. It's also easier to trouble shoot any problems you might have. It's either the left side or the right side, so 1/2 of the system yould be excused right away. I had a friend that did all of his systems that way.
"ZPA's will have the same sound essentially as you get from the MS, they just feature a bigger shinier set of balls."
No problems... in fact, it will keep you from getting channel "crosstalk" (left channel sound appearing in the right speakers, etc), so this will actually work BETTER than the conventional method.
