Xenon 5.0 VS RSD65cs crossover

Post by phonixx »

Hi!

I have ordered a set of RSD65 cs component speakers for my frontdoors. Should i use the crossovers for the RSD65 cs or is the Crossover for the Xenon X5.0 a better choise? I know i just have to try but i`m wondering if anyone have tested the X5.0 crossover vs the RSD crossover?

The Xenon crossover looks a little "advanced" with a lot of components on it but i didn`t like the sound of the Xenon mids that much.

Thanx

The crossovers are specifically made for the speakers. If you are using RSd speakers, then use the RSd crossover.

it sounds like it would work great. the xenon mids were garbage, but the xo's were pretty good.

the rsd and xenon tweets are very similer so it is deffinetly worth trying!

i going to tset the rsd's on the ti elite XO in the near futeure, so let me know how it goes!

I thought that the crossover points would be different for the different types of speakers? Give it a try, and let us know how it sounds.

they are different, but the rsd's and xenon's are fairly similar as far as the ohm load and crossover points.

usually its a bad idea, but it wont hurt anything to try. especially with a slightly "higher end" XO.

there's a good chance it wont sound better or even different, but hes got nothing to lose
