TIP35C/36C .... are these used in rsd250.2 also ??
Looks like these trans are no slouches at all.....
check out the excerpt below i took off Dejan's writing on power transistors.
" Most European power devices are rated for up to 100V, while practically all US and Japanese devices are rated for 140V and over, 200V being nothing unusual.
Do not confuse voltage with power ratings - a transistor may have a very high voltage and a very low power rating, and vice versa. As an example, look at BD249C/250C pair (Texas Instruments, European version of TIP 35C/36C) - they are rated at just 100V, but also at 125W, a continuous current of no less than 25 amperes and an impulse current rating of a whopping 40 amperes (50 amperes in the SGS-Thomson version of TIP 35/36 C). Toshiba’s 2SC3281/2SA1302 are rated at 200V, 150W, 15 amperes continuous and 30 amperes impulse. So, while the BD249/250C pair has neither the voltage nor absolute power rating of the Toshiba 2SC3281/2SA1302 pair, it beats the hell out of the Toshibas in terms of current, no small feat when you know the Toshibas are far from being slouches themselves.
