Picked up both X200.4 and X600.1 yesterday. Haven't power them up and decided to open them.
Found that:
a. X200.4: saw D13 SOT3 transistor was missing; instead a shunt wire was placed. Some resistors were missing near bridge rectifier.
b. X600.1: saw a burnt sign on the traces.
Note: the owner said that these amps were not refurb nor had any repair.
In fact, I noted that the green RTV glue for heat sink were not alligned properly. This X600.1 is the first gen. mfg. i.e. Dec 2003.
Any of you have schematics? What do you think?

OK first things first the 200.4 has that jumper installed on all of them and the devices was pulled by the maker as best as I can tell < I own three 200.4's all were purchased second hand, one was really broken, and I fixed it.
So to recoup on the 200.4 I would relax and enjoy the amp. It has tons of safety devices built in so it will not go tragically into the night on you. Just fuse it properly and you will be all right and good to go.
As for your 600.1 well the brown discoloration does not sound right, could you please post a NON phone cam pic for me to see. Phone cams suck as I need detail to properly judge any issues. Unless you see where components have be re-soldered to the board, I would guess you would be safe saying its 100% stock.
As for schematics, well PG does not release those to the public even if you beg, So no go there my friend. I have notes and reverse drawn diagrams for most of PG's stuff I had to look at to understand. The Xenon stuff is fairly uncomplicated if your experienced at amplifier rework < I have 25 years at it>... If you do not then plan accordingly, Shipping to America is pricey at best..

I wish to be of more help to you but I really need a pic or two of the 600.1
I think your 200.4 is fine as by your description it looks like all three of mine do inside, remember I bought all three of mine broken, so I have been inside all three of them completely up to removing the boards and re-installing them > LMK C

Pics
Sorry for pics. I have to dig out info to shoot for low res.
On the X200.4: I compared it (D13) against Doc's pictures (review of X200.4 at Soundbuggy), they were the same. So I am sure that this X200.4 won't have any problems.
Note: D13 and some others resistors are indeed not populated on the board.
Please advice on X600.1 burnt trace. Why?

looks like something was spilled in there or possibly flux...
Try cleaning it up with acetone and a toothbrush, should come right off.
The trace looks fine.
note on acetone, be careful with it. let it dry completely before powering it up. use in well ventilated area and try to keep it on the circuit board

I already told him that last night, maybe he will listen to you

Thank you both
Thank you for both of you 1moreamp and Thumper88.
I did clean it up with Acetone. The mark is gone.
Should power them up sometime next week. Can't wait how
good these amps are!!!
