Trunk vents ??

Post by ludeboost98 »

Is it bad to close up your vents in the trunk? Mine make a hell of alot of noise outside the car when my subs hit . One is a inlet and one is an outlet . I thought about taking the rubber out of them and attaching a duct system to raise the vent so no moisture would come inside . What have you done? Any other suggestions??

I went ahead and closed mine up for the same reason, but because I have a trunk lid cover I made I never slam it anyways. The other reason they are there is to dry it out in case of leaks. never had a problem with it and its been like that at least 3 yrs now.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Their main reason is to circulate fresh air and prevent moisture build up and condensation.
