TBA1 cables - will ps2 cables work?

I just scored a set of the TBA1 balanced line units, and the cables did not come with it. It's the older version using the 6 pin mini din connectors. Making a cable is not a problem, but if i can use some ps2 cables and extensions i have laying around it would make it easier and a bit cheaper. I've perused the tech sections and found the pinouts and conversion to newer connectors, but I like to get firsthand knowledge before I start plugging things in...

Can anyone help me out on this?

I've used them briefly for testing and yes, they do work.
