First Run MS-2125?

Post by Shinju »

I got another one of these and this one has the MS-275 style terminal set up. The board is green with gold traces and the powersupply caps are not the normal ones I see in these MS and MPS series amplifiers.

Anyone have an idea when this run was released?

Should be a Rev. B
And yes it´s one of the first ones that was released. The problem with these was that the speaker connector was to weak to take its constant maximum power output during tests if i remember correctly.

I would think the speaker terminal soldered on the board would be more of an issue than the actual output speaker terminal. I have seen plenty of 1000W+ amps with smaller terminals than these old PG amps have.

I could be wrong though.
