He has been playing unbelievably. Too bad Datsyk and Franzen are hurt. It was nice to see Modano out there again though. One thing is for sure, that bitch Thorton is going to kill someone the minute he knows it is over. He has been like a 4 year old out there trying to take people out the cheap way.

A missed call on an icing in double overtime leads to a crazy bounce off the stanchion and the Canucks win the series. Yep, this is playoff hockey alright! :D

Boston deserved it. They were for sure the better team. Played with a lot of heart, and had the best defense and goaltending in the playoffs. They figured out exactly how to shut down all of our top players, and made scoring on Luongo look easy.

I'm still totally happy with 2nd place! What was important for me in these playoffs was that we beat Chicago, since they knocked us out of the playoffs in previous years. But I didn't think if we beat them we would take the cup... in fact I am surprised we made it to game 7 at all! It was quite an achievement. Just means that next year we will have to be even stronger now!

I'll worry if we don't make it in a few years. This is why we have long contracts on these people. We've got a good team dynamic, we just need more experience and toughness. Our team just needs to ripen ;)
