dont have these amps anymore but I see alot of guys like the rsd amps. Soon as I bought them I knew I had to do this. gives it the old school look.
I also had them painted to match my cars interior, but I loved the look with the grills off the pexi

just take it apart and remove the metal grill material that is on top. The plexi is already there. I removed the plexi in my 1200.1 that I am going to run at low impedence just to help it cool better.

What did you do? Are the painted or powder coated? I'd like to try this with my amps. If only I could find a almost new in box RSD500.4.

adding some leds in side should not add any noise if done right. You could just connect to the remote turn on of the amp and the lights could help you too know if the remote turn on is on.

could just tie the new LEDs into the ones that are there already. I think there are 3 in each amp that are blue

Your amps looked great, the paint that was on there, how well did it stand up. Was it easy to scratch?

of course if you overdrive the led circuit you might burn it out which is why I suggested just tapping the remote turn on. As I said above I did it on my last system and it made it easy for me at a glance to know that the remote turn on was hot, if the amp was not turned on for example because of a blown fuse.
