were there any other zed amps that used the same type as the series 8 amps?

not to my knowledge, as far as I'm aware Utilink was unique to series 8 amps.

Correct, Mantz mentioned these were made specifically for these amps and the tooling has since been destroyed. He recommends soldering wires directly to the CB as the power connectors can sometimes overheatnot to my knowledge, as far as I'm aware Utilink was unique to series 8 amps.

they overheat if there is a poor connection, they weren't the best idea but I would still try to keep an amp original as possible, it's a shame all those now rare connectors got binned including the pieces soldered to the boards.. the speaker ones are easy enough to find though although they will not have +-r on them. the power ones are unique and unobtainable!

I think I found a way to make some thta might look decent. .
