i know this may be a repeat post of sorts, maybe if you guys can help me figure out what happend...
i have an m44 that has been.. say not used for about 10 years. sitting in a garage covered. I just recently decided to hook it back up. so i ran my 4g power wire back, hooked it all up worked great.... for about a week... now i get a the red led and then nothing... then even the led powers off..
also, what was also going on in this picture was... i have 2 sas bazooka tubes hooked up. 1 powered 1 slave to run off the powered. my main goal at the moment was to use the m44 as a signal transmitter and volume control for my subs. again. worked fantastic.. for about a week. was working great then.. after i turned off my car to head to class .. came back got nothing... nothing nothing...
one thing i can't neglect to input here (please hold flames) was i had the power cable for the powered subs connected to the power channel on the m44 i did use to seperate grounds. i only did this till i got the few dollars i needed for a distribution block and also it was hard as hell to find 8g wire by the foot out here in NEPA.
now i have the subs running off the distribution block fine. and my Non-fading rca's hooked up.
i removed my m44 disconnected everything, hooked it back up just the power ground and remote.. still nothing. soo after some reading on the forums i took it out, opened it up, sprayed it with air, looked aroudn in it to see if there was some discoloration or something that stands out... nothing. could it be possible that the fuse in the amp blew? doesn't look blown, but i know it doesn't always have to look blown to be bad.
any suggestions, or is it an amp for the graveyard
