M44 @ 1.33 ohms bridged? maybe with fan shroud?
Who thinks this would be ok? Keep in mind this system is for listening to music. I am not a boomer. I like it loud sometimes, but mostly hard rock and metal. I figure with the fan shroud, i might could get away with it. Maybe not.....worth asking. Load would be 3 Rockford audiophile 4 ohm 12s.
i know it will shut down if current demand is too high.

Why don't you just use 3 channels of the m44 one for each

I've had my M44 2ohm stereo to subs and it would get warm after a while of light listening. It never shut off on thermal or overload with about an hour of loud listening. This was 12volts and used in house as a computer system stereo. I think it would get hot in a car environment quickly...

don't kill you're amp.....such a beautiful sounding amp......
an MPS or a ZPA will be a better choice for this load.....
or go class D......

I figured as much. I was hoping for the impractical.
i do not have a m44 at the moment....Just looking at options. I do have the mps2500. It just needs recapped before i feel comfortable using it. I need to find a nice 2125 to go with it i suppose. I am just looking for something to use in the meantime. There does not seem to be any multi channel pg amps that can do 1 ohm bridged.....hmmmm. better get moving on the other amps and get them ready.

I've had my ZX600 TI 1 ohm bridged and it was getting hot quickly. Even with the MPS, it will get warm pretty quick at moderate to loudish levels.

I have heard the RSD amps do not do bad at low loads like that.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

I've had the 1200.1 at 1 ohm, it would go into protection at what sounded like 100hz hard bass. It barely got warm after a 6 hour drive and was very very loud on 2 15" type R dual 4 ohm...

I plan on doing my 1200.1 like that except there will be a fan controlled by a thermostat.
