Thoughts on Ti210.... Good or bad.

Post by Fish1234 »

Looking to buy one in the near future from my local dealer in Pensacola. Wanting some first hand opinions from someone. Thanks!

i just installed 3 of them in my wagon, replaced and idmax 12v2.. i got these as i was looking to going to a pair of Ti2.12's but these came up at a silly price from a mate who works for stinger Australia.
they are running in approx. 2.5cf sealed enclosure for all 3, running off my pg tantrum 1200.1 (at 3ohm)..

they've only been running a few days in my car, was wired & powered up Sunday.

they are a really nice subwoofer, and have surprised me so far with their output, clarity and how they hit the lower end of the audio spectrum.
I'm running signal from an alpine cda-9887 into a pxa-h701 processor..
up to 25/35 volume, they blend nicely with my front stage but go to 30-32/35, and they start to really show their colours.. they hit low, and go loud..

i certainly would recommend them.

Great set up, man! Thanks for the review. What is MSRP for these subs by the way?

I recently built a car using 4-10" ti2. 4 th order bandpass in a mustang, my avatar is from that. I was thoroughly impressed by them. Sound quality was outstanding and the output was phenomenal. To the tune of about 144 db. Great sub imo. Msrp is $279.99 if i remember correctly, im not at the shop atm.

Thought I'd touch base again..
I've had my 3 Ti2 10's in the car for couple of months now, and I'm absolutely loving them!!
The go lower, and are a lot louder than my previous idmax install, also with the mono gain on absolute minimum..

To prove it, I thought I'd put the car thru the lanes in an event held today..
Best I got was 138.9db @48Hz.. in a sealed box, in a large wagon (slightly smaller cabin size than the 300c) but I was happy.. might try for 140db now..
