Xenon series setup

Post by hub_n_hun »

I have 3 x10d4's but am debating whether I should only use two. I am using a X1200.1 to power them so wouldn't it be better to over power the subs rather than underpowering them and putting more stress on the amp? What do you think?
Also, I have the 1200.1 and 200.4, would I go 0/1 splitted into 2 guage or 2 splitted into 4 guage?
Thanks alot!

You could either get .66 ohms parallel or 2.66 (i think) in series.

Since the Xenon mono blocks make full power between 4-1 ohm, I would just wire them in series at 2.66 ohm.

they're going to get LOUD, but be prepared to build a big enclosure for them.

0 and 4 awg are fine for those amps, 0 to 2 awg would be better if you have the 2 awg wires

Also understand that the X1200.1 and the X200.4 both have dual 4awg inputs for power and you will need to feed both sets for optimum performance.
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.
