Post by gentlejax2 »

I was just playing around and bidding on a ZX500v2 this afternoon and I got up before it was over and when I came back I had won it...for $187 shipped in white...

Well , I get home from work and he has told me "he's sorry but he cant let it go for that cheap...it was his first time listing an item" .....

Well its no big deal really although I would have liked it ....I told him I could give him hell and I could give gim a neg feedback....I also told him he was ful l of shit...new or not he waited to see how it went and since it didnt go like he wanted he wants out of the deal.....

oh well I really done care.....I need help for my sickness of buying amps anyhow.........

here is the auction

take it up with ebay, an auction is a legally binding contract.

I had the same problem a few months ago. Report him if he doesn't sell it to you.

What a PRICK!! I seen that auction, reason it went so low is because the A-Hole has 0 feedback. Now he has a negative 1 feedback.

Scumbag.

Its not like it went super dirt cheap, I got $10 less than that for my ZX475ti last year, but whatever.

I had one newbie do the same thing to me (it did actually go super dirt cheap). I paid him immediately and it took him 5 days to tell me (I emailed him for a shipping update since he didn't communicate) He said didn't have it anymore. It took him anthother week to refund me money and I had put in a paypal dispute in first, to get that into action.

I am sure if I neg his ass he will neg me back for no reason.....

I have worked hard to get my sheet back to where it should be and both my negs were from people ripping me off...

I got a radar detector in my office right now that is "silent" cause the speaker is dead.....he said it worked...so far never heard from his sorry ass but if I leave him neg . he will neg me back as welll

Ebay really sucks....I would rather buy from you guys..

If you wait 90 day's its a lot harder to leave feedback. That works well for newbies becuase they usually can't figure out how to leave feedback for older items. In my case I gave the guy a neutral.

I would deffinatley give him a negative. That is what he deserves, and if he gives you a negative take it up with ebay. They might help out.

BTW, that radar detector isn't a Bel Vector by chance is it?

Even if he does give a negative feedback, so what you could reply with a explanation of what a dick he is.

Yeah, it will affect your feedback score, but I'm sure future buyers/sellers will check your feedback before dealing with you. they will know its not your fault.

Absolutly take it up with e-bay. If you won a no reserve auction, then he owes you the item. Screw him, take it up with e-bay, and leave him a neg feedback.

Like Vin said even if he does neg you back you can put an explanation down. I've seen that on several things I've bought on Ebay.

I bought a set of tail lights for my truck 4months ago. Took the guy 5 weeks to send it to me w/very little communication and I recieved it broke. I was able to fix it myself after arguing w/him. I left him a neg feedback and that's just what he did to me. Ebay didn't help shit when I contacted them. I would personaly take it up w/ebay as he's legaly binded and IMO, $187 for that amp= in a heart beat.

Well if you don't care, then you don't care BUT Its against e-bay rules. Rules we all have to live by while doing business on e-bay. If the shoe was on the other foot he would screw you to the wall.

At minimum report the incident to e-bay so they can boot his ass off the auction site. It is after all a auction site, and hes just playing games with people.

On another note I just sold two Orion HCCA amps in really great shape, They both sold for less money then they were worth, BUT they sold and thats that, They are shipped on there way to there new owners as I type.
Business is business, you win some and you lose some < shit happens> But you never break a contract of business with anyone < not if you like being in business>

You were buying from a chump ass kid with no ethics, and no real pics of the amp < very risky behavior on your part>

Call e-bay and report your loss to them as a formal complaint against the seller. They will ban him for playing games with their business, and other people. They lost money on the deal, and you lost out on a perfectly good deal on a amplifier. Why should he get away with such bad business ethics.

On another note, perhaps the amp is not real and you have been had by a small time crook with no brains and or guts to carry out a raw deal on you < just a thought>

Don't leave any feedback , that avenue is such a joke, and does nothing to correct a bad situation. I actually think e-bay gets a kick out of people using it the way they do.

Consider your actions with e-bay as an attempt to make E-bay a better place < if thats possible>

If you leave a neg. feedback be descriptive of situation in the comment box.

Ex:

"I bought amp from this douchebag and he thought it was to low a price so he refused to sell to me- Wanker!"

Suttle and to the point

Have to say I've been lucky up to now with my Ebay dealings.

I agree with the others though and at the very least report him if only to save other people from getting tucked up by him.

All of you do yourself a favor and set up ANOTHER ebay account. Use that account for purchasing ONLY, use your old good feedback established account to sell things. That way when you want to leave negative feedback for a crappy seller, you don't really care about retaliation.

I have had two accounts for 3 or 4 years now and it is perfectly legal within eBay's guidelines provided one account is personal and the other account is "business". You can use the same PayPal account for both BTW.
