iAmp-GM1 for Camaro convertible

Post by SPickering »

Does the iAmp-GM1 fit a 2011 Camaro convertible? I have been told that it will not fit and been told that it will fit? Thanks

sounds like a question for morgan. He is not here daily but sooner then later he pops in to answer questions. I don't think I know of anyone else on the phorum that has bought one yet but certainly not convertables.

Actually wait didn't someone here get a Camaro and install one? Can't remember who....
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

The variable in the equation is how the convertible top folds down, and where it stows when it's down. Could very well be that it won't work, but I don't know.
Being loud without good sound quality is pointless, but having good sound quality without being loud is also pointless.

The enclosure for the iAmp-gm1 is for use in the non convertable Camaro. How ever there is the iAmp-GMC, which includes the amp, harness, and all the dsp features. There is no enclosure or sub included. This allows you to use the amp in a convertable with your own sub and enclosure.

I appreciate your responses. If memory serves me right they did say that there wasn't a sub included with the amp they were talking about. Sounds like Justrob hit the nail on the head. Thanks.
