Audio Control Epicenter

I have an old Epicenter that was given to me but without the controller. I know it's a simple deal but I have no idea how it is wired. Would anyone have a schematic for the controller?

I think you can order the controller right from the audio control webpage for $40 too

Original series. I know I can get one from Audio Control but I find it hard to spend $40.00 for something that simple with only about $5.00 in parts, if that much. Besides that, I want to incorporate both the one for my KLW Cathedral and and the Epicenter into one unit. I want to do just one knob for both. Push in for one and pull out for the other. The KLW has a 10k pot with a "B" (linear) taper.

I can't remember much about my last epicenter but didn't the knob already pull to turn on and push off or is that my ESP-3 that does that?
I don't think you'll find one much cheaper unless you keep watching fleabay eventually you might get one for $20 used.

Sorry to dredge up this old post but I still have this old Epicenter and no remote. I have just put power to it and have no light indicating that the power is on. I am assuming that because there is no remote with the push/pull switch for on/off that it would not show power. What I would like to ask is if anyone knows how I can bypass the remote as far as the switch is concerned to see if in fact it does turn on. I really wouldn't want to spend $$ on a new remote if the Epicenter processor is dead.

I have also been looking at what pics I can find of the remote and also opened up the case of the Epicenter. The remote consists of a LED, A resistor on the PCB and a dual gang pot. I would think the resistor is for the LED to drop the voltage to it. The PCB shows 4 contacts going to the remote. One is definitely ground. One should be for power and the other two I think are for both channel adjustments via the remote and reference ground.

Anyone care to take a stab at this and help me (and I'm sure others) get this old (Original, PRE series II) Epicenter going?

I am not much of an electrician, and have never owned an Epicenter. But if you do break it, at least you can order a new one. Not like a BassCube.
