I saw the earlier plexi vs. lexan thread and figured I would ask a plexi question of my own so I wouldn't thread jack.
I am starting my doorpanels soon, and I want to close up holes in the door frame with plexi or sheet metal. I will be taping which ever sheet I use to the frame, dynamatting over it, and then putting ensolite peel and stick foam over the dynamat.
Will plexi work to close the gaps in the door panel, or is sheet metal a better idea?

Re: Plexiglass Question
You just taping it in place? Would recommend at least a few screws/rivits in there myself but as long as its flat plexi would be fine. If you need something you can bend or work a bit then go with the metal.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.
