Need a 15" sub in 1.5-1.75 cub--or something else--found

Post by kg1961 »

I was wondering if anyone has used a great sub in a small sealed box. im doing a full ti set up but the sub. I need to find a sub i can use with about 800-1000 2ohm rms
15",13" or crazy loud and clean 12"
i had a line on focals but the box size is to large than a jl 15w6 the seller will not respond

so back to the drawing board ----i have about 1.75 cub to play with
i need the sub before i can start the build
i want about 130db if i could not a spl system more of a daily driver
thanks
Mike

Look at the Image Dynamics IDMAX v4 or v3 ...runnin' a 10" v3 version off my Elite.5 in a small sealed box (1.0cuft^3 net per the manual) and it's the best sounding sub I've heard to date.

If you have a clean 1000 watts, I'd run this beast. 1.6 sealed is the SQ configuration. http://www.phoenixgold.com/products/sub ... oductID=62
Being loud without good sound quality is pointless, but having good sound quality without being loud is also pointless.
