Amp wiring

Post by Drock »

Hey guys, i have a question about wiring speakers on my ti800.4 amps on my bench.

If i were to use say the front left/right ch's stereo at 4ohm to a ti passive crossover for mid and tweet,
Could i run a ti9 bridged on the same front ch's?
Im sure i did this way back once with an old kenwood kac-744 amp.
I think it was called tri-mode back then.

Would this work on most amps? Or was this a specific configuration for kenwood amps.

I just am curious.

Different brands at some point had this option. But I nevered researched if PG amps could. It does bring up a good question thou.

Dont mean to thread jack ya but does anyone know if the originals ti and zx models allows this config also?
