Line level input connectors!

Post by Reiker76 »

I am looking to upgrade to a S1000.1 but it does not come with a line level input connector. I'm wondering if anybody knows what will fit or if this has to be a direct piece from PG?

Previous: 2000 LHS. Alpine CDA-9815(Presently 0.83V @ remote!!!). 2X-(PG M50 and JL12W6)Sealed.

Presently: 2014 Impala LTZ Limited w/Bose
-Just want to add sub's. Looking at getting an S1000.1 to connect directly to rear line level but it does not include a connector. I could go with a line level converter and a crossover to the M50's but I want to keep it simple with headroom for future expansion, hence the S1000.1! I'm looking for backrubs not competition!

Any help would be appreciated,
Robert.

Welcome to the phorum. Periferal or pac makes an add an amp adaptor. The prob with a standard hi-low is the gm Bose is heavily eqed and will lower bass as volume goes up as to protect the speakers.

So I should connect this high level input to the input lines on the amp? Unless it is the head unit that lowers the eq as the volume goes up? If it is the head unit then does the PAC reverse this? I did a search on PAC'S website and I found nothing for the 2014 impala. BUT, since it is a Limited it should be the same as a 2013. They showed me the AOEM-1416 which doesn't work with premium sound! Then I found information on a AOEM-1416A, but their website says it doesn't even fit ANY years Impala!

Which puts me frustrated just wanting a $5 connector!!

its quite spendy, but this box works awesome for bass integration in systems that alter bass: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004CT ... TF8&psc=1v

I agree with Bfowler most newer stock systems will limit your bass! This unit should work good for what you are doing. If you were doing a total upgrade I would check into the Audison line. Best of luck!
