Kia soul system options, i need help.

Ok, I have the upgraded sound system in the kia, its a 2014. got all the GPS rearview video, etc.

So for starters its easy.

audison bit one.

Currently the system is 7 channels, 2 front, 2 rear, 2 sub(yeah really), 1 center.

i currently possess( or will possess)
1 set of older 6 1/2 ti elite components and xover
1 set of older 5 1/4 ti elite components and xover( on 5 1/4 is blown)
1 set of older 9 inch ti elite midbass drivers
will be buying 2 morel caw 6s to replace 5 1/4s

in the dash I could theoretically put a 9 inch elite in the center spot.
I could then put the other in the back stock 8" spot in the back of car as well.
OR I could replace center channel stock 4 inch with the good 5 1/4 elite.


however this would not give me the lower range I want.

I may( with some modification) be able to fit a PG Slim 12 back there.

I CANT put the 9s in the doors without major modification.
I MAY be able to mount them under the dash on either side aiming Down at feet.

The Elite 6s will go in stock locations in front doors.
the tweeters either in stock dash or upper doors.

the morels in the back door stock locations as well as tweeters back there.

preferably 1 12 in the back somewhere.

my next issue is the amps.

I only run PG. but the amps need to be a manageable size. my outlaw was too big( thus i sold it)

Im thinking of running 8 channels.
2 front
2 rear
2 midbass
2 bridged to 1 sub( or whatever)

amp wise I know I could get 4 MS275s.
ORRRR
2 Elite.4s

my issue with the elites is they seem overkill. especially since i wont ever run it as loud as it could go.

but I want SQ real bad. May add the audison bit Play HD to the mix to boot.

Any ideas? you guys think the elites would be overkill? I know I can get them both to fit in the storage area above my spare tire, with room to add a single 12 sub to the mix as well. It would be a motorized amp rack so i could still get to my spare.

4" in dash for center and the 4 corner speakers sound like a good idea.

I'd leave the 9s out, it's a small car.

Use a single 10 or 12" sub.

As for amp, why not go with an elite.5? It should work for everything except for the center, in which you could use a smaller amp (I don't remember if the bit one has a built in amp for center).

well I'm iffy on the whole center channel thing to begin with. I'm afraid it'll muddy up the front stage. The interior is pretty big comparatively to other vehicles.

I'm most likely going to put a 12 in. I like the idea of the 1/6/9 up front tbh.

I'm just not sure about the massive power the elites put out. The components are rated at 150 watts rms, the elite amps will put out even more then that, even though they are rated for exactly that. 2 of them will require a new alternator and second battery I would guess. granted I'd be running everything at 4 ohms. Just seems overkill for what I'm doing power wise.

Anyone hear the elite amps? how do they compare SQ wise to old school ms amps? way better? a little better?

Elite amps are the very best pg has made so they are very very sq style amps

I will be selling my elite .5 and .2 to upgrade to the new zen9 hit me up with a pm if your interested. Unused still have the box/packing for them.

I would nix the 9's rather then put them in random spots around the car.
