Will this combo work?

Post by vwdude »

So I just got my wife a 2015 Subaru outback limited with the harman kardan setup. I want to add s sub.

I recently bought a plexi bottom ms-275. I plan to have that run an older mtx Thunder 8000 series 10". Would those pair well together? The sub is rated 400 watts RMS with 84db sensitivity.

Yup 4 ohms. My wife isn't a bass head so I hope it gives us enough low end.

Would a black zx350 work better? :)

I hope I didn't swoop in and jack it from someone.

Ms 275 only for tweeters, it works even better than brax x1000 on tweeters.
Sounds like music...

That zx350 would be a great match. What kind of box are you doing? Also, are you installing a line out converter or what were you planning?
